T.I.’s comeback to music has been relatively underwhelming. His acting and reality show ventures have been more successful than his slew of singles. In an interview with FUSE, Tip revealed that Trouble Man will boast features from André 3000, Pink, A$AP Rocky, Cee Lo Green and R.Kelly. His next single, “Ball,” features fellow troubled man, Lil’ Wayne, and is expected to drop in a few weeks.
“One of my proudest moments as an artist is when I got to collaborate with [André] 3000,” Tip revealed. “This is a record that has been in the works for probably about six years now, and we finally got around to doing it–and the record is called ‘Sorry.’ It’s a phenomenal tune. He’s phenomenal on it. Also, I got a record with Pink called ‘Guns and Roses’–it’s a dope joint. I got a record with A$AP Rocky called ‘Wild Side.’ Cee Lo and R. Kelly–those are two other collaborations that I’m very proud of.”
J. Cole and Big K.R.I.T. may appear on Trouble Man, too.
T.I. ran into his “Guns and Roses” collaborator while on The View promoting his new novel, Trouble & Triumph. Speaking of P!nk, the screaming rocker performed her new hit, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and spoke on her life as a new mother.
